Ronit Kanwar is a Manager at Schmidt Futures where he works on Talent, building strategic partnerships, and developing new initiatives. He is passionate about building companies for good and is a proud advocate of social entrepreneurship. Prior to Schmidt Futures, Ronit co-founded Empower Energy, a rural distribution network in India. Empower Energy is an award-winning social enterprise which has distributed solar lamps across the state of Odisha. Ronit has been named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list and is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper. He holds a B.A. in Economics and Management from the University of Oxford.
